How To Set Chrome As Default Web Browser Using BrowserChoser (Guide)


Google Chrome is currently the number one web browser in the world and yesterday we got another reason to shift to Chrome. Google has finally launched Chrome for iPhone and iPad, but you could not set it as the default browser, until now. In comes BrowserChoser, a jailbreak tweak that lets you chose Chrome as the default browser. Here is how to set chrome as the default web browser using BrowserChoser.

If you have fallen in love with Chrome for iOS then this jailbreak tweak is for you. Follow the guide below to set Google Chrome as the default web browser.
STEP 1: Install Google Chrome for iPhone or iPad.
STEP 3: Now head over to Cydia > Manage > Sources and tap on the Edit button at the top right corner and enter the following repo.

STEP 4: Tap on add source.
STEP 5: Now it will begin the installation. Once installed search for BrowserChoser, and install it.
STEP 6: Once BrowserChoser is installed, go to Settings and tap BrowserChoser. You will have the option of choosing Chrome as your default web browser.
That’s it folks, Google Chrome has been set as the default web browser. Now whenever you click on “open link in safari”, it will open in Google Chrome.
