You might remember we had a couple of guides on installing Siri before but those were all for iOS 5.x.x. But we finally now have the guide on installing Siri on your iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6. So check out the guide below.
Requirements:
A jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPod touch running iOS 6
Device running iOS 6
Guide To Install Siri On iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch
STEP 1: You will need to jailbreak your device. If you are not already jailbroken simply click on this link to jailbreak your device. Remember folks this is a tethered jailbreak, so you will need to “Just boot” on redsnow every time you reboot.
STEP 2: Open Cydia then head over to Manage followed by Sources
STEP 3: On the top right hand corner tap on Edit and add the following repo:
http://repo.siriport.ru
STEP 4: Once added, search and tap on SiriPort (Original) iOS 6. Now simply install this package.
STEP 5: Once you have added the package. Go to settings and find SiriPort.Ru Original.
STEP 6: Now you will simply need to install that in order to install Siri on your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch.
STEP 7: To get Siri working you will need to press home button and say “Hi”. You might need to repeat this a couple of times until Siri is able to connect you.
That is it folks! You will now have Siri installed on your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch running on iOS 6.
If you are not able to get Siri working after saying “hi” you might need to reboot your device, but remember this is a tethered jailbreak so “Just Boot” using redsnow.
